Northern Alberta Orthotics is seeking a passionate, patient-focused Certified Orthotist to join our growing team in Edmonton, Alberta.

At Northern Alberta Orthotics, we believe the future of orthotic care lies in combining proven traditional fabrication methods with emerging digital technologies. We have invested in equipment and software to developing a hybrid model that integrates traditional craftsmanship with modern digital workflows, including:
3D scanning
CAD/CAM design and modification
Digital shape capture and rectification
Additive manufacturing (3D printing)
Digital fabrication workflows
We are seeking an Orthotist who is excited by this evolving landscape and wants to play an active role in helping shape the next generation of orthotic care in order to continue with our reputation of caregiving.
Whether you already have experience with digital technologies or are eager to learn, we can provide training and mentorship in our established digital workflow processes. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our clinic as we continue to expand the capabilities of our profession.
What You'll Do
Assess, design, fit and evaluate orthotic devices with a strong focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with clinicians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Participate in both traditional and digital fabrication workflows.
Utilize or learn digital tools such as 3D scanning, CAD modification, and digital manufacturing techniques.
Contribute ideas that improve clinical outcomes, efficiency, and patient experience.
Build strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, therapists, and referral sources.
Qualifications
Certified Orthotist CO(c) in good standing with the Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC).
Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive environment.
Interest in digital technologies, CAD/CAM, 3D scanning, and modern fabrication methods is considered a strong asset.
Desire to continuously learn, innovate, and advance the profession.
Compensation & Benefits
Schedule
Full-time permanent position
74 hours bi-weekly
Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
1 hour for lunch
Compensation
$46.65 – $62.07 per hour
Salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications
