Description
Global Transaction Services (GTS) at DBS comprises Cash Management, Trade Finance, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services, supporting corporate and institutional customers.We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven trade banking professional to manage and grow an assigned corporate trade portfolio. The role will proactively engage clients and Relationship Managers to defend existing business, deepen relationships, and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities through strong product advisory. The focus is on increasing facility utilization, expanding wallet share, and accelerating adoption of trade solutions across Documentary Trade, Open Account Trade, and Supply Chain Financing.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Portfolio Utilization: Actively manage and monitor an assigned portfolio of key accounts to systematically identify underutilized credit lines and expand wallet share.
- Commercialization and P&L Growth: Partner with IBG Relationship Managers to protect existing trade revenues, activate underutilized opportunities, and grow GTS contribution from the assigned portfolio.
- Client Advisory & Solution Structuring: Provide trade expertise, market insights, and tailored Documentary Trade, Open Account Trade, and Supply Chain Financing solutions to address client needs and deepen engagement.
- Support improvement of the customer journey through continuous review of our solutions and development of our products and services, aligned with the bank's strategy and supported by market research, customer feedback and financial analysis.
- Analyze customer usage data, engage with stakeholders, and provide feedback to Product or Operations on enhancement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Candidates with people management experience may be considered for a team lead role.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or equivalent in related disciplines
- Solid experience in banking, financial institutions, or corporates' procurement centre.
- Strong aspiration to develop a career in Global Transaction Services across Trade Finance, Open Account Trade, Cash Management and Digital Solutions.
- Prior exposure to receivables financing, supply chain financing, procurement services, or a related professional background.
- Self-driven with a tenacity to succeed, good influencing and negotiation skills, able to drive cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Positive "can-do" attitude, resilience and tenacity to overcome obstacles. Highly proactive with a proven track record of converting dormant corporate accounts into revenue-generating clients.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered Senior Associate/Associate rank
