Sr Eng, Structural Eng’g; B/E Aerospace in Winston-Salem, NC. Analyze & check structural eng’g data produced by other eng’g groups to evaluate structural integrity & ensure it meets the structural reqs for FAA & aircraft mfging acceptance as approved data. Must have bach or equiv in Mech/Aero/Auto/Civil Eng’g or rltd & 5 yrs progrssve exp as Structural Eng, Stress Eng, FEA Anlst, Crash Safety Eng, CAE Eng or rltd (OR master+3). Must possess 3 yrs exp w/: translating actual problems to FEA model, interpreting analysis results & selecting the best solution; investigating opportunities to limit required testing & reduce certification costs with FEA analysis; demonstrable exp w/ CAE software; wrking w/ virtual anthropomorphic dummy injury simulation & Impact related analysis using LS-DYNA.
