About the Role:
The Trim Brake Operator is responsible for forming and shaping metal trim components used in pre-engineered steel building systems. This role operates brake press equipment to bend, cut, and fabricate trim pieces to exact specifications.
Working in the shop alongside fabrication and sheet metal teams, this position focuses on producing high-quality trim that supports roofing, siding, and finishing components. The ideal candidate will take pride in precision, consistency, and maintaining production efficiency.
What You'll Do:
Operate trim brake and press brake machinery to form metal trim componentsRead and follow work orders, drawings, and specificationsMeasure and bend metal accurately to required dimensions and anglesInspect finished trim pieces for quality and accuracyStage and organize materials to support production flowPerform basic machine checks and assist with routine maintenanceWork closely with production teams to meet daily output goalsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWhat We're Looking For:
